Here is an update on our publishing schedule of The Local Paper/Melbourne Observer.

Currently, we are in a cycle averaging fortnightly publication. We look forward to returning to weekly publication as soon as possible.

The next editions will be published with a cover date of September 7, 2022.
These will be Digital Editions only.
(This edition had previously been scheduled for August 31, 2022.)

Further print and digital issues in September are currently planned for September 14 and 28.
So we are not missing any scheduled issues, it is just that the issues planned for September 7 will be produced seven days later than originally planned.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but we wanted to give this advice at the earliest possible opportunity.
All advertiser accounts will, of course, be adjusted so that the full value of purchases are honoured
We want to say a sincere ‘thank you’ to readers and advertisers for their patience and consideration as we work through COVID-related circumstances including staff shortages.
