Far away from the glitter and gloss of Hollywood, Guy Pearce turned up at Kardinia Park to watch AFL flag contenders Geelong at training.
Accompanying Guy was Game of Thrones actor Carnice van Horitan and his son. Guy has supported the Cats for past 18 years.

Book launch for Number 96
This year is the 40th anniversary of iconic tv soapie ‘Number 96’ and coinciding with celebrations is a book by David Sale, with a foreword by sex symbol of the show, Abigail.

Hollywood gossip sheets are quoting it asd fact that legendary comedian Steve Martin is soon to announce an end to his movie career.
Aged 76 he has achieved a lot: three times host of the Oscars; five times Grammy Awards, and a cabinet or five of silverware for various tele-movies, live performances, and being all round good guy.

Ten decided to launch a weekday news service – 8am -8.30am leading into Studio 10. Seems Perth viewers missed any advance publicity as on August 10 the show rated a big, fat zero (Oz Tam survey).

Seven’s Annual Report 2022 includes details of the booty the MD of Channel 7 earns. James Warbuton is paid $2,389, 837 plus various incentives bringing the total to $4,571,574. Under Warbuton’s control Seven’s revenue jumped 21 per cent.
