Yarra’s Disability Advisory Committee is seeking new members to provide advice and guidance to the Yarra city Council on issues affecting people with disability and their carers.

For more than 20 years, the Disability Advisory Committee has played a pivotal role in making sure people with disability in Yarra have access to programs and services. The committee strives to ensure accessibility is front of mind when it comes to Council decision-making.

Nominations are sought from all interested people who meet the selection criteria. Community members with a disability, those who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, culturally and linguistically diverse, or LGBTIQA+ are especially encouraged to apply.

The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Monday, January 31.
